Week 4: KC over Oak

In this rematch between the Second place 74 Oakland Raiders 2-1 coached by Jay "AT ZEEBUZZER" Schneider visiting Paul "GOTCH YA" Blocher's 71 Kansas City Chiefs (tied for Third with the 70 Baltimore Colts) already held major playoff tiebreaker implications heading into week 4. This game was to close out this head to head match up in the Canarsie Leagues Inaugural Season, where in Week 2 DA RAIDER'S held on to win there home opener 26-21 (5 pt's diff). Read WEEK 2 BLOG for those highlights if you care. If not I will get over it. Enough with my BLA, BLA. Here we go. It was a perfect day for football out there in hostile territory KC, and the Chief fans gave my Raiders a respected round of boo's and slurs that my home crowd made famous, the difference being Oakland is not known as a environmental setting for young kids. SHAME ON YOU KC !!. Anyway, this game was one to enjoy and grin to. Late in 4 th QTR my Raiders took a very short lived 1 point lead 24-23 before Coach Blocher made the decisive call of the game. It was 4 th and 1 and I called in my short yard defensive scheme, he bluffed and pulled out a play action long pass play. It connected for a TD which made the score 37-24, I then took the next possession down the field for the last TD but didn't recover my onside kick. Final Score (71 KC Chiefs 37 -- 74 Oakland Raiders 31) 6 point difference. KC now holds a 1 point tie breaker incase we are tied for the last playoff spot. OUCH !!! My hats off to "The KC Coach" MR.
