Pre-Season Week #1

Well the preseason got off to a very slow start. A lot of issues regarding setting up games, then some connectivity issues. I created a self extracting .exe file to place the league files in the appropriate folder. I thought this would work. Unfortunately I didn't understand the dynamics of the game, nor did I read the instructions (what man ever does ?).

To correct this error I posted the original league file created by the game and a new page that had instructions on how to install it.

The other issue that we had was regarding connectivity. Seems when files on both PC's aren't an exact match the connection wil be broken. Thankfully both Richard and Wayne rose to the occasion and figured out the issue and 3-4 hours later got us a new patch just for our league to test.

In game play the 1973 Dolphins met the 1974 Vikings in a rematch of Super Bowl VIII. Same result as in real life, but this time the score was a bit closer. The 1970 Lions edged out the 1972 Browns in a close old fashioned 1970's struggle.

At press time we have 4 more games pending.
