Week 5: Dolphins smackdown Raiders Trash Talk

Raiders coach, the imortal wordsmith Jay "Buzz" Schneider layed down the gauntlet this week when he called out the Dolphins and said his "7 point underdog Raiders" were going to win. The 'Phish didn't need this piece of bulletin board material to motivate them, although external motivation never hurts.
Coach Schneider curiously went away from the vertical game that the Raider franchise has been known for and concentrated more on percision passing and running. Deep threat Cliff Branch was double teamed early by Miami then basically became the forgotten man as the game went on.

The star of the game was one Larry Csonka who had 123 yards on 15 carries along with two TD's. Bob Griese was again efficient 10-15-86-TD and the No Name Defense harrased Ken Stabler into submission. The final score of 38-3 helped Miami more than cover the 7 point spread.
